Privacy Policy
Car TV ยท Last updated October 3, 2026
Car TV is a media player. It plays streams from sources that you add yourself. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. The short version: we don't collect any data about you.
Data we collect
None. Car TV has no accounts, analytics, advertising, or tracking. We don't run servers that receive information from the app.
Data stored on your device
To work, Car TV keeps the following on your iPhone or iPad only:
- The playlist addresses, playlist files and Xtream Codes server details you add
- Channel lists downloaded from those sources, your favorites and recently watched channels
- App settings, such as appearance and playback options
- Xtream Codes passwords, stored in the iOS Keychain
This data never leaves your device through us. Deleting the app removes it.
Connections the app makes
Car TV connects directly from your device to the playlist, stream, logo and Xtream Codes servers you add, to download channel lists and play video. Those servers belong to the providers you chose. They may see your IP address and request details, as with any internet connection, under their own privacy policies.
If you use AirPlay or CarPlay, playback information is handled by Apple's operating system under Apple's privacy policy.
Content
Car TV doesn't provide, host or review any channels or media. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to access the sources you add.
Children
Car TV doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
